Legal Business in Active Search: “Yuridicheskaya Praktika and Legal High School Organize First ON-LAW MARATHON
“Yuridicheskaya Praktika” (The “Practice of Law” newspaper) publishing and Legal High School educational platform hosted the first online event, the ON-LAW MARATHON – “Business in the Crisis: Changing Settings”, which took place on April 17, and Yaroslav Romanchuk, Managing Partner of Legal Group EUCON, also participated in this event. The meeting was moderated by Rustam Kolesnyk, chief editor of the “Yuridicheskaya Praktika” newspaper.
The newly created online platform brought together representatives of the legal market, business and government agencies to find the most effective ways to work in times of crisis. Particu, participants considered changing the legal market through the introduction of quarantine, TOP-5 practices during the crisis, ways to reduce the costs of a law firm, new mechanisms for organizing the workflow of the company, the effectiveness of current activities, communication with clients, etc.
Yaroslav Romanchuk shared the experience with his colleagues within the topic “How the legal business works in Poland. New legal products”. The expert pointed out the peculiarities of the work of the company in the new regime, namely, outlined the volume of work in comparison with the pre-quarantine period, told about the priority practices now, e.g., construction and real estate, labor and migration, tax law. Mr. Romanchuk also spoke about changes in legal market of Poland during quarantine period, the organization of a Polish office, communication with clients, and outlined the main problems that clients apply for.
