Business-forum “The white begin and win”

On June 7, 2016 the second business forum “The white begin and win”, where the issues of doing business in a “white” way and the use of transparent mechanisms of international investment were discussed, took place in Kyiv. The forum was organized by the Ukrainian Business Association.

The director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and development in Ukraine Shevki Adzhuner and the Business Ombudsman in Ukraine Algirdas Šemeta were the main speakers of the forum.

The chairman of the supervisory board of PJSC Concern Galnaftogaz Vitalii Antonov, CEO of “The First Private BreweryAndrii Matsola, CEO of “Plastics-UkraineIreneusz Derek, Director of Chemical Elements Ukraine Illia Leonenko and the Managing Partner of the International Legal Center EUCON Yaroslav Romanchuk shared their secrets and opinions on white and transparent way of doing business in Ukraine.

As a part of the forum, a solemn signing of the Agreement between the Association of Ukrainian business in Poland and the Ukrainian Business Association, which declared the joint efforts of both organizations to promote economic development between Poland and Ukraine, took place.

“This agreement will enhance the ability of Ukrainian business to actualize its potential of entering the EU markets through the jurisdiction of Poland. By joint efforts we can achieve even more success in defending the interests of Ukrainian producers and suppliers who want to export to Europe. Our support includes not only help in finding partners, but also lobbying of interests at all levels of the governmental structure “- said Yaroslav Romanchuk, President of the Association of Ukrainian business in Poland, Managing Partner of the International Legal Center EUCON.

The Agreement provides cooperation of both countries in organization of visits of the business communities to promote trade and investment, participation in exhibitions and business forums, and coordination of efforts in collaboration with the state and local authorities in Poland and Ukraine. Being members of the Association, Ukrainian companies that export or intend to export to the European countries will be able to optimize their efforts when entering foreign markets.

It is the second cooperation agreement in this year. On May 12, 2016 as part of the IV International Forum DAY OF UKRAINIAN BUSINESS in Poland, the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ukrainian Business Association in Poland and the International Society of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine was signed. This document initiates the systematic cooperation between businesses operating in Ukraine and Poland.
