On April 6, 2017, the first International Specialized Exhibition of Retail and Development in Ukraine RETAIL & DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS EXPO – 2017 was held in Kyiv.
The event included exhibitions and conferences with the participation of leading specialists in the field of retail and commercial real estate.
At the invitation of the organizers, Yaroslav Romanchuk, Managing Partner of the International Legal Center EUCON, President of the Ukrainian Business Association in Poland, took part in the conference. He was the moderator of the first session of the event “DOING BUSINESS IN UKRAINE“.
Opening the session, Yaroslav focused on the problems of doing business in Ukraine and relations with regulatory authorities. He also recalled that the state intended to implement the innovations envisaged by the BEPS plan (4 out of 20 steps), including the rules on controlled foreign companies.
During the session, the participants discussed the changes adopted in the legislation of Ukraine in 2017 and their impact on retail and development. The following experts took part in the session: Mykhailo Merkulov, CEO of Arricano Real Estate; Serhii Ovchinnikov, member of Victoria Gardens’ Board of Directors; Oleksandr Sokolovsky, founder of Textile-Contact group of companies; Andrii Mineev, executive director of Citrus and others.
The event brought together around 2000 representatives of companies in the areas of retail, commercial real estate and b2b segment.
